Welcome to Just a Bunch of Roadies, a coalition of companies and individuals in the touring entertainment industry formed in January 2010 in response to the earthquake in Haiti.
UPDATES:
Charlie Hernandez was recently honored as “Humanitarian of the Year” at the Tour Link 2011 Conference in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Charlie was recognized for his work over the past year with Just a Bunch of Roadies. In his acceptance speech, and in a panel discussion on “Ethical Touring”, Charlie spoke about ways that the concert and live entertainment industry can have a positive impact while moving their shows around the world.
The slogan “Just a Bunch of Roadies” had such wide appeal within our industry community that we are officially registering the organization under that name and phasing out the use of Roadie Relief.
As the word is spreading about Just a Bunch of Roadies, we are in the process of updating and preparing to re-launch our website in a format that will allow for more frequent updates about our work. Please stay tuned in the coming weeks - and thank you for your patience.
